Dr Merri Randell. Digital Artist
This art project seeks to celebrate the diversity of cultures in Logan through Council’s Community BushCare program. Logan has 19 natural BushCare sites where a huge diversity of vegetation, wildlife and landscape are represented.
From January - October 2015 I will create a body of work in response to these BushCare sites and these artworks will be exhibited at the Logan Artists Association Gallery at 27 Coral Street Loganlea from 4-21 November 2015 (www.logansrtists.com) This gallery is also a BushCare site.
The artworks I create are audio visual hybrids which are designed to create inclusive, hyper-real experiences of the landscape and encourage audiences to re-frame the way they interpret their local environments.
